It’s like everything for me as I got that much addicted to this game like I was roaming here and there in my home, in the streets, in the open grounds, in the crowded places in search of a Pokemon. My friends and I had covered almost all the places nearby where we could possibly catch a Pokemon. Those days were one of the best days that I’d spent in my life..

As today, lying on bed keeping my phone aside remembering the best moments of my life and then I got these crazy memories. Those days were damn amazing. Just wanna live those days back. The time when I’m having my phone back in my hand read something really amazing about this game that made me to write this post. It’s like God has listened to my plea to make me live those great days back. By the way don’t you wanna know what’s so amazing I’ve read about this game this morning.

Here it is!! According to a new study by Stanford University and Microsoft researchers, playing Pokemon Go mobile game could add up to 41 days to the lives of the people aged between 15 to 49 years. As Pokemon Go players walk an extra 1473 steps a day, which is roughly 25% more activity performed than the non-players, the study claimed.

After tracking the activity of almost 32,000 Pokemon Go users for three months using an accelerometer and a gyrometer, the researchers found that the game “significantly increased” levels of physical activity. In particular, it has health benefits for people who are not traditionally that active. “These increases are not restricted to already active and healthy individuals, but also reach individuals with low prior activity levels, and overweight or obese individuals,” researchers said. They also found that Pokemon Go was more likely to improve the movement of less active people than other health apps.

Pokemon Go’s creator Niantic LAbs has revealed that as of December 7, players collectively walked more than 8.7 billion kilometers, which is more than two lakh trips around the Earth. A commercial jetliner would have taken more than 1000 years to cover the same distance. The players also caught more than 88 billion Pokemon along the way.
